A320

Athanassiadou Art Advice project space, curated by Margarita Kataga
2009, Athens

A weird landscape. Seen from above, the land below has no soil, no tree, not even water. A pattern has taken the place of the real landscape. A pattern that is nothing more than a simulated representation of nature. And the journey aboard the A320 reveals to us no less than our own relation to the “artificial” landscape or the true pattern. A journey that tells stories about time, evolution, nature and civilization. Man travelling through one of his own creations: the pattern.
